Keighley Labs goes to the NWAA Annual Conference

Members of the Keighley Labs team were honoured to attend the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) 9th Annual Conference, held at the Concorde Conference Centre on March 14th, 2024.

Under the wings of the legendary Concorde G-BOAC, the flagship of the British Airways fleet, over 180+ attendees, sponsors, speakers, and delegates gathered for a day of unparalleled insight and inspiration.

The conference, themed around “The Growth of Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing in A Digital World” featured engaging discussions on the future of aerospace to dynamic panel Q&A sessions. This was topped off with a keynote speech from former political strategist Alistair Campbell, who is originally from Keighley.

What struck us most was the depth of exploration into cutting-edge technologies and innovative strategies for the future of the industry. As metallurgical experts, we found ourselves particularly engaged in conversations around materials science and its implications for aerospace.
“Our team from Keighley Labs was truly inspired by the wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities. The event provided invaluable insights that will undoubtedly shape our future endeavours.”

Beyond the sessions, what truly made the day special were the connections we made and the collaborations sparked. Meeting industry leaders and fellow professionals, we exchanged ideas and forged new partnerships with incredible people from all corners of the British Aerospace industry.

As we reflect on our experience, we extend our sincere gratitude to NWAA for organising such a remarkable event. The conference showcased the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines British aerospace engineering.

In the spirit of continued progress, we at Keighley Labs look forward to contributing to the bright future of aerospace, inspired by the insights and connections gained at the NWAA 9th Annual Conference.
