The first brand to enter Yorkshire’s Strongest Brand is Timothy Taylor’s Brewery, a fellow Keighley-based business.

Founded in 1858, the brewery moved to its current site in 1863. Over 150 years later, the brewery remains in the Taylor family, where they still use traditional cask conditions of brewing.

Famous award-winning beers that they produce include Landlord, Boltmaker and Knowle Spring Blonde. 

But in their toughest challenge yet, how will the brand fare against our tensile testing machines?

Timothy Taylor’s provided us with three individual items as part of their entry to the tournament – starting with a bottle opener.
